Starring: Don Knotts, Carole Cook, Andrew Duggan, Jack Weston, Larry Keating
This is a early Warner Brothers movie combinin live-action and animation and done quite well. After watching it again, I was taken by some of the puns that I hadn't noticed in (much) earlier viewing.
Don Knotts is perfectly cast as Mr. Limpett, a very mild-mannered wannabe hero. In this story, though his "hero-ism" happens unexpectedly, Mr Limpett takes it with grace. The time period of this movie is WWII but isn't the normal WWII-type movie.
This is a definite MUST-SEE for ALL ages!!
